Lemmo To Congress Campaign
Subject: Alfred Lemmo Announces United States Congressional Campaign for Michigan District Thirteen
Michigan’s thirteenth U.S. Congressional District has a new candidate today vying for the seat currently held by Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
Dearborn resident Alfred (Al) Lemmo has filed his paperwork, opened his campaign accounts and is now officially a candidate for the United States House of Representatives.
Mr. Lemmo begins his race with a top-tier experienced campaign team, as well as over $300,000 being reported to the FEC in his campaign war-chest.
Lemmo who is a retired Engineer after a 30-year career with the United States Army, has decided to throw his hat into the ring, and contest the controversial Congresswoman for her seat in Congress.
Asked “why” he believes he has a chance as a Republican in this traditionally heavy Democrat district, Lemmo responded; It is not disputable that Ms. Tlaib has been nothing short of an embarrassment to both the 13th District and Michigan since she arrived on Capitol Hill. Lemmo continued with; for over seven decades this district has gone from once being the wealthiest city on earth to one of the poorest in terms of both wealth, and education, and it has all been under Democrat leadership. I believe the voters will see that my campaign is going to bring very bold ideas, solutions, and a positive change to their lives and a much brighter future.
Lemmo concluded with; Albert Einstein once said, “the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result.” It is time the 13th District step out of its comfort zone and try a different approach. For 30-years with the Army, my job was providing solutions to problems, and I know that I can turn this district around with sound results for both the economic and educational issues facing our community and district.
